Management

Barry Woods–President

After graduating from UCLA, Barry Woods started his first maintenance business, D & B Maintenance Service in 1975. Renamed Woods Maintenance Services in 1997, the business now includes three companies: Hydro Pressure Systems, Graffiti Control Systems, and Woods Services. Barry is proud to have been recognized numerous times by the City of Los Angeles and other municipalities for his instrumental work in city enhancement projects and beautification. A very philanthropic person, Barry has donated to many charities around the southern California area. Most recently, Barry and Diane Woods were honored by the Valley Food Bank with their first ever “Humanitarian Award.”

In his spare time, Barry enjoys traveling with his wife and spending time at the beach.

Jeff Woods–General Manager

An original partner in D & B Maintenance, Jeff returned to the company in 1998 to run its day to day operations. An expert in information technology, Jeff has streamlined the business operations and has introduced many innovations to the back office operations of the firm. Jeff, affectionately known as “grandpa no-no”, is the glue at the firm.

When not in the office or in the field, Jeff can be found on various golf courses in the Los Angeles area.

Josh Woods–Director of Operations

A Los Angeles native,  Josh returned home in 2009 after spending the last 20 years in the colder climates of Michigan, New York and Illinois. Learning from his experiences in various business endeavors, Josh brings a fresh outlook to an established business.

In his free time, Josh can be found on the fields, in the rock climbing gyms, and the auditoriums of Southern California watching his 3 kids play, climb and perform. When he isn’t working or chasing down his kids, Josh enjoys traveling with his wife.

 

 

Project Managers

Enrique Lopez

Enrique has been a fiercely loyal employee since 1989. He has been project manager for multiple contracts over the years. He also is responsible for treating City of Los Angeles approved murals with anti-graffiti coating.

 

 

Antonio Morales

For more than 20 years, Antonio has worked all manner of contracts for the company. He is skilled in graffiti abatement as well as landscape maintenance. He supervises and manages various projects for the firm.

Rene Lopez

Beginning his tenure with the company in 1992, Rene has supervised many contracts. Currently he manages a team of 16 graffiti abatement technicians.

Angel Paniagua

Angel Paniagua has worked for Woods Maintenance Services since 1997. Beginning as a line worker, Angel proved himself to be an extremely dedicated and diligent worker, becoming a Project Supervisor in 2003. In 2013, he was promoted to Senior Supervisor, responsible for all MTA Trash contracts. Currently, Angel heads up Business Development and Retention, researching potential new business, meeting with new clients, and making sure existing clients expectations are exceeded. In his spare time, Angel enjoys spending time with his family and going to LA Dodgers games.

Mario Acosta

Our Landscape and Irrigation Maintenance supervisor, Mario has been with the firm since 1997. He currently oversees all landscape and irrigation maintenance work for MTA.

Connie Perez

Connie has been with Woods Maintenance Services since 2004. In her long tenure, Connie has worked in nearly every division of the company and currently serves as office manager. Connie not only oversees an office staff of 6 and a field staff of 100, but her duties include handling personnel issues, accounts payable/receivable, and benefits administration. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children and grandchild.

Marina Lopez

Marina has worked in different capacities for Woods Maintenance Services since 2008, and currently, serves as the Executive Assistant to the Management Team. Marina is responsible for creating and compiling reports, invoices, and databases to enable our back office operations to run efficiently. In her spare time she enjoys travelling and spending time with her husband and daughters.
